childrens liturgy

Children's Liturgy is for ages 5 - First Communion. It is held at 5:00 pm and 10:00 am Masses during the school year (breaks for holidays). The children are dismissed from Mass after the Opening Prayer and will return at the collection. This is a great way to have the readings proclaimed and explained to the kids in a way they can understand.

 Volunteer while you’re at church!

Finding time to volunteer is difficult for everyone.  But what if you could volunteer while you are already at Mass? St. Patrick’s is in need of adult volunteers to help teach the Children’s Liturgy during the Saturday 5:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM Mass times. This is a great way to give your time and talents to the Parish without adding to your busy schedule.  Each week’s materials will be prepared for you; Volunteers simply need to review the weekly scripture readings and Mass theme with the children downstairs while the scripture readings and homily are being given.  Volunteers usually only have to teach once every 4 to 6 weeks; and the more volunteers we have, the more flexible the schedule can be!
