DESCRIPTION:SOLD OUT\n \nJoin us for a special evening with Rebekah Allick as she shares her personal journey of faith\, her conversion to Catholicism\, and how her relationship with Christ has shaped her life both on and off the court. \nRebekah Allick is a professional volleyball player\, former Nebraska Cornhusker and proud Nebraska native whose Catholic faith has become central to her life. \nA standout middle blocker at the University of Nebraska\, Rebekah earned AVCA Second Team All-American and First Team All-Big Ten honors during her senior season and helped lead the Huskers to two NCAA semifinal appearances. She has also represented the United States internationally\, winning gold with the U.S. U21 National Team at the 2022 Pan American Cup. \nRebekah came to the University of Nebraska as a Christian but not a Catholic. Through friendships\, a Catholic Bible study and the witness of other Catholic student-athletes\, she discovered a deeper relationship with Christ and ultimately converted to Catholicism. Since then\, she has spoken openly about her faith and her desire to use the platform God has given her to help others encounter Jesus. \nRebekah also has a special connection to St. Patrick through her friendship with Husker soccer player Sarah Weber\, who grew up in our parish and whose family has been part of the St. Patrick community for many years. \nFollowing her collegiate career\, Rebekah began playing professionally with League One Volleyball and will return home to Nebraska as a member of LOVB Nebraska for the 2026–27 season.
