The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults or OCIA (formally RCIA) is a process through which unbaptized adults and children over the age of 7 are formed in the teachings and practices of Catholicism and are initiated into the Catholic Church.
Classes typically begin in mid to late August or early September (depending on when Easter falls).
