Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is open to both adults and high school youth. Singers rehearse on Monday evenings starting at 7 pm and sing at the 10 am Sunday Mass one to two times each month.

Work, school or family keeping you busy? Join choir for a short season rather than the whole year.

Want to try it out first? Sit in on a few rehearsals.

Already have weekend events planned? 100% attendance is not required.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is open to grades 3 through 8. Singers rehearse on Monday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00 pm and sing at the 10 am Sunday Mass one to two times each month.

Knights Choir

The Knights Choir is open to men of the parish, even those who are not members of the Knights of Columbus. Singers rehearse on Sunday morning immediately before Mass and sing at the 8 am Mass on the fourth Sunday each month.

Cantor / Psalmist

In the absence of a choir, cantors lead the singing of hymns, Mass parts, Responsorial Psalm, and Gospel Acclamation. Cantors need to have a pleasant singing voice and some knowledge of music reading. Cantors practice on their own time and meet with the accompanists 30 minutes before Mass. Cantors are needed at the Saturday 5 pm, Sunday 8 am, and Sunday 10 am.

A Psalmist leads the singing of the Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation while the choir leads everything else. In the absence of a choir, the psalmist and cantor positions are filled by the same person. Psalmist are needed at the Sunday 10 am Mass and occasional 8 am Masses.

Instrumentalists

Instrumentalists support congregational singing, offer musical variety by playing alone before and after Mass or with the choir. Woodwinds, Brass, and String players with at least three years of lessons are needed for special occasions like holy days and celebrations of sacraments. Pianists and Organist with experience as accompanists are needed for weekend Masses and funerals.
