Liturgy of the Word

WHEN IS IT?

Saturday – 5 PM
Sunday – 10 AM

WHO CAN COME?

Designed for those ages 5 to First Communion

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The children are dismissed from Mass after the Opening Prayer and will return at the collection. This is a great way to have the readings proclaimed and explained to the kids in a way they can understand.

ARE YOU CALLED TO LEAD?

St. Patrick is in need of adult volunteers to teach the Children’s Liturgy.  Each week’s materials will be prepared for you.  Volunteers simply need to review the weekly scripture readings and Mass theme with the children downstairs while the scripture readings and homily are being given.  Volunteers usually only have to teach once every 4-6 weeks, and the more volunteers there are, the more flexible the schedule can be.
